Sherm opened Sherm's Catering in the Fall of 2008, with a vision of creating Wilmington's finest catering service. Sherm has training from some of the local chef's, and self taught knowledge.Sherm has a desire to make everyone's dining experience special. 

In 1991 Sherm began his  career in the restaurant business as a waiter.  He then moved up to managing, and then cooking.  After a few years serving in the military he returned to the restaurant business.  His one true passion has always been serving his customers with a great dining experience.  However, he never lost sight of his passion for fine dining. He knew that he wanted to step beyond the kitchen and create memorable experiences for people..

Sherm founded Sherm's Catering in the Fall of 2008. Before he created his first dish, he vowed to only use the fresh ingredients, and prepare each dish with an infusion of passion and creativity. Critics have been raving ever since. Guests agree. Sherm's Catering is Wilmington's best.
